POWDER COATING

Here at Commercial Powder Coating Inc. we powder coat a wide variety of parts with a vast array of coatings for all industries. Our systems are comprised of 4 powder booths, 4 ovens, 3 overhead conveyors and automatic washer. From production to specialty, large or small we can coat it. All equipment is new and state of the art. Personnel are trained and stay abreast in the latest finishing technology.  We coat all types of metals and finishes. Powder coating is an excellent metal finish that replaces wet coatings on most items coated today. Powders come in different formulations depending on usage, i.e. polyesters on outdoor products for ultra violet light protection, epoxy for chemical resistance and hardness. Powder coated products have excellent durability, UV stability, hardness, corrosion and chemical resistance. We offer a variety of colors to meet your finishing needs; smooth finishes, textures, wrinkles, veins, hammertones, solids, transparents, candy’s, anti-graffiti and clears are among the most widely used.

CERAMIC COATINGS

 Cerakotetm products represent the latest technology in ceramic coatings. From high temperature exhaust to decorative clears, ceramic coatings have high chemical and corrosion resistance, excellent hardness and outstanding UV stability.  We have coatings for engine components, exhaust systems, firearms coatings and other performance applications.

THERMAL PLASTICS

These coatings are a multi-purpose thermoplastic industrial finish for maximum mechanical performance, high impact resistance and ultimate protection from ultra violet exposure. This coating is environmentally safe and available in several colors. Some common uses are outdoor furniture, automotive parts, architectural metals, recreational equipment, sporting and safety equipment, tool boxes, fencing and more.

SANDBLASTING

We operate 2 sandblast booths and 2 cabinet blasters to keep up with customer demands. Most parts and projects are sandblasted prior to the coating process. We use steel media for hot roll steel and garnet media for most other substrates. The cabinet blasters use garnet, glass beads, plastic and walnut shell media for all other blasting requirements.

STRIPPING 

We have added chemical stripping to our list of services. This allows us to remove old coatings from all materials. This process is excellent on soft or thin metals that sandblasting would warp or damage.

PRETREATMENT

All parts that are not sandblasted are pretreated. Pretreatment is critical for surface preparation prior to the coating process. This process removes dirt, oils and other contaminates, which prepares the surface for coating and enhances adhesion. We utilize a 3-stage automatic washer, 8 stage aluminum pretreatment line, manual wash and phosphate etch area for large parts.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

All products are protected and packaged to assure they arrive at the destination free of damage. Packaging is a critical step between the final product and the customer. We ship via truck, FedEx and UPS. Customers can request other means of shipment. 

DELIVERY

We offer pick-up and delivery services to customers in Central Oregon. We also offer pick-up and delivery in the Portland, Salem and Eugene areas.
